MEET THE TEAM
Donna Furber – Founder, CEO and Accredited Driving Instructor (ACT ADI308, NSW Mutual Recognition)
Donna moved to Australia from the UK in 2008 and has always had a passion for enriching people's lives and serving the community.
Since becoming an accredited driving instructor in 2010, Donna has also worked in outdoor education, leading adventure camps and expeditions, as well as in community organisations and aged care facilities. In her spare time, she loves to hit the dirt on her dirt bike or take her dog Bonnie to the beach!
Motivated by a desire to create a safe, positive environment for students to learn to drive – especially in what can be an overwhelming experience – Donna embarked on her own journey in early 2023 by founding Wheel Warriors Driving School.
With a vision to expand and make learning to drive exciting, Spotto Driver Training was born in October 2024! This exciting new chapter includes the addition of two brand-new yellow MG3s, and a fully updated website and booking system.
Donna is ready to help you step outside your comfort zone and become the best driver you can be!
Roz Worthington - Accredited Driving Instructor (ACT ADI467, NSW Accredited 066685)
Spotto Driver Training is thrilled to have Roz as part of the team, in her mission to guide and support new drivers on their journey to a safe and happy driving future.
Roz has lived in the Canberra region since 1990. She raised her beautiful family here and has worked in both health care and retail.
Back when Roz was a learner herself, her mum was also a driving instructor. Calm and patient, her mother’s teaching style left a lasting impression, qualities which Roz has inherited. Now, over four decades later, driving remains Roz's favourite pastime.
Roz is excited to pass on her knowledge and skills to new drivers, and will be sure to bring you a smile or ten during your lesson!
Matt Gallo - Accredited Driving Instructor (ACT ADI476)
Matt, originally from the south coast and now calling Canberra home for the past five years, brings a unique background to our team. He began his coaching journey as a competitive gymnast turned coach at 16, teaching classes for ages ranging from toddlers to seniors.
After years of coaching, Matt joined the Australian Defence Force, serving 15 years as an Infantry soldier and Army Corporal—gaining invaluable experience, including work at the Parachute Training School and military skydives.
At Spotto Driver Training, Matt combines his passion for coaching with his sharp observational skills. He is dedicated to guiding students to become confident, safe, and responsible drivers in a relaxed, friendly environment.
